Endine tipprattur Levi Leipheimer, kes lõpetas karjääri 2013. aastal dopinguskandaali tõttu, sai saatuselt sõna otseses mõttes kõrvetada.

Californias, Sonoma maakonnas Santa Rosas möllanud kulutuli hävitas enam kui 2000 hoonet, teiste hulgas põles maani maha Leipheimeri maja. Surma sai 17 inimest ja lugematul hulgal koduloomi.

Leipheimer postitas sotsiaalmeediasse kõneka video ja pildi. Metsik põleng võttis kõik, mis ette jäi.

So sad to say goodbye to the best Home I’ve ever lived in. I rescued many animals here. Broken hearted.

Please send your thoughts and prayers to the people of Sonoma and Napa Counties. So many of my friends, neighbors and my community have lost so much. It’s truly devastating and heartbreaking.
